The use of a device for dosing ingredients allows you to significantly reduce the resting time of wine materials after processing. On average, the volume of precipitation after processing is reduced by three times due to an increase in its density. The phenomenon of over-gluing or under-gluing of processed wine materials is completely eliminated. The periodic operation of processing wine materials is carried out continuously in the flow when they are pumped from one tank to another, for example, after the blending process. In addition, colloidal cloudiness does not occur in the wine processed on the VDI-10 unit and bottled for at least 1.5 years.
The device for dosing ingredients in the VDI-10 stream allows you to significantly reduce the costs of energy carriers, ingredients and time when processing wort and wine materials. The yield of clarified product is significantly increased due to denser sediment (the volume of sediment is reduced by 2 times), and the degree of transparency of the processed wine material after pasting is 0.2-0.5 formative units, which sharply reduces the consumption of filter materials.
The installation consists of a piston pump on which two metering pumps with a single synchronous drive are mounted. The introduction of ingredients into the product is carried out by special heads, which ensure the 6th and high-quality mixing of the introduced ingredients with the pumped product. Dosing pumps can work individually and together, if necessary, they can be disconnected, in which case the installation works as a pump for pumping the product. The flow part of the dosing pumps is made of stainless steel.
