Description
The sluice gate is used for uniform unloading or metered supply of dry loose, powdery, granular or granular materials. Depending on the scheme of the technological process, the shutter can interact with other technological equipment.
It is designed to reduce the inflow of air into technological equipment, the pressure inside of which is different from the atmospheric pressure. The valve is used as a device that separates the increased pressure from the reduced ambient pressure, allowing at the same time to perform the feeding-unloading of the product with minimal air leaks.
The shutter consists of 1 body; rotor 2, made in the water of the cone, and installed on the shaft 3; bearing housings 6, inside which bearings 14 and cuffs 12 and 13 are placed; cover 4, 5, 7; bolt 9 with handle 10; bushings 8; gear motor 15.
The shutter body is made of aluminum alloy, and the rotor is made of food-grade stainless steel. The hermeticity of the shutter is ensured due to the close fit of the rotor blades to the inner surface of the housing. The position of the rotor in the housing is set using bolt 9.
Principle of operation.
The shutter works as follows: the material, having passed through the loading nozzle, fills the cells of the rotor, which are located at the top. When the rotor rotates, the filled cells move down, and the material is discharged through the discharge nozzle. The unloading and loading nozzles are equipped with flanges that serve to connect the sluice gate to the technological equipment.
The gateway feeder can be used in the following industries:
