Description

Principle of operation

The VPM-20 mash heater is used at wineries and is designed to heat mash, wine materials and wines up to t=750С.

The pulp is fed into the cavity of the internal block of the housing through a nozzle by an adjustable pump installed in the process line. Moving along it and stirring with a stirrer, the pre-heated pulp enters the cavity of the tank of the outer casing, where it is finally heated and discharged through a nozzle. During the passage through both cavities, the pulp heats up to t = 75 ° C. The rotation of the stirrers improves the heat exchange from the steam shirts to the pulp.

The supply of steam is carried out automatically by the temperature regulator depending on the temperature of the pulp at the exit from the heater.

Condensate removal is carried out automatically using a condensate trap installed on the condensate line. When starting the heater and when the condensate trap fails, the condensate drain can be carried out through the bypass system.

Removal of pulp residues, wine materials and wines, washing of the heater cavities is carried out through the nozzle (6).
